On Wednesday tht 14th of April we took all the children who are not at school or with families for a day out. We first ate a very nice lunch at Java’s and after that we enjoyed the swimmingpool to the fullest. It was a very nice day for the 14 children and 5 adults.
It has been a nice easter. The children came home from boarding school to enjoy the weekend at home. We baked nice cakes, had a ‘sjoel’ competition, enjoyed in the swimmingpool, played hide and seek and we ate a lot of food.
On the 13th of March Mary made 8 years. She really looked forward to her birthday and counted down the days. She had a very nice day with a lot of presents from everybody.
We had another birthday party on the 9th of November; Eric made 7 years.
He really looked forward to his birthday for like 2 months, so he was the happiest birthdayboy when the day finally reached.
On Sunday 1st of November we took all children who are not with their relatives to the zoo. Especially for our baby class children it was a very special day. Mostly these young children stay around home, they walk in the village or go to Mpigi Town or a walk in the forest in Mpanga Forest. It was the first time they went for a full day trip and they enjoyed every single minute of it.
Entebbe zoo not only has animals, but there is a beach, a nice playground and a swimmingpool. It was a very wonderful and enjoyable day for all of us!
Yesterday, the 25th of October was a happy day at the Home of Hope and Dreams because Norreen made 3 years. We celebrated with our family and she received nice presents.
Today we went to the forest for a walk. We really enjoyed and had a good time. The uncle who works at the forest lodge played for us some songs on the accordeon and we danced and sang for him. It really became interesting when we also played music on the accordeon.
